Description/Blazon
338th Army Band Baldric

Symbolism
Red, white, and dark blue are the colors of the Adjutant General Corps, reflecting the organization under which bands are formed.  These are also the colors of the Ohio State flag and are aligned on patterns reminiscent of that flag, alluding to the Band's home state.  The unit's location is further suggested by the star indicating Columbus, the capital city of Ohio.  Displayed on the drum and tabard is the distinctive unit insignia for the 88th Regional Support Command, the insignia worn by the unit.  The shoulder sleeve insignia of the 88th Regional Support Command is displayed on the baldric and the top of the mace; also represented on the mace, the "Buckeye" leaf.
